FTP access to Wordpress sites

For our managed Wordpress sites, we follow the same policies as Wordpress.com:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/

For seamless security, all Wordpress support hosts are blocked from FTP.

Keeping Wordpress safe is non-trivial.  Having FTP available opens a whole extra class of exploits we would rather avoid. Your site is set up for automatic updates (without FTP), in order to track security issues as closely as possible.

We will be happy to work with you to find alternatives to FTP, or open it up temporarily on request if that is the only solution.  You can always make requests at:
